What do I write?

Most of my work has an intercultural angle – global business articles, country profiles, foreign policy analyses, expat pieces, and advice on kids and culture. Here, I write about all things cultural, with a spotlight on life in the U.S.

How do I write?

I use the spoken voice, everyday language, and a neutral perspective to illuminate complex cultural issues. My most common format is a feature piece like an essay or an analysis, but I also write short stories.

Where do I write?

In addition to contributing to Harvard Business Review, my articles have appeared at Tempe Sister Cities, Bristol Global Mobility, AFS Intercultural Programs, The Power and Interest Report, The Women’s International Perspective, Peacemaking Korea, Lifewide Magazine, and intercultural, expat, and diversity sites.

I am also the author of an intercultural children’s story.
